Bet You Didn't Know Fender Made Classical Guitars...

Fender Classic FC-40 was produced between 1972 and 1981 and was renowned for the build quality and sound.

The FC-40
was the top-end model from the FC Series line of guitars and has a slotted headstock, a cedar top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck and a rosewood finger board.

If you like quirky guitars come and see the Bohemian Oil can guitar...

I laughed when I first saw this guitar, but when I plugged it in...

This guitar looks like there was a marriage between Gibson and Fender and they had a baby.

Okay. It’s not as good looking as either a Gibson or a Fender.

It looks like an oil can with a guitar neck stuck to it.

It’s “boxy.”

I’ve walked past this guitar several times not giving it a second look.

Until one day I was intrigued enough to take a closer look.

One end of this guitar has a Gibson touch.

The other end a Fender touch.

The bridge is most definitely like a Les Paul bridge.

It’s close to the body of the guitar so it sounds smoother.

You can easily lower the action if you like to play fast or have trouble with Barre chords like I do.

There’s two humbucker pickups for the deeper Gibson sound.

The other cool thing is you don’t need a guitar stand because it stands up on its own.

The advantage of being boxy.
When I first plugged it in I couldn’t believe my ears.
What a sound.
Like hearing a Les Paul played in a large empty room.

Now, Yamaha has found a way to apply innovative techniques developed for its high-end L-Series handcrafted models to improve tone and playability while maintaining outstanding value.

Each model features an inverted L-block which creates a deeper low end and a tighter body-neck connection.

Additionally, solid spruce tops, die-cast chrome hardware, and unique non-scalloped bracing help these FG guitars build on the longevity and legendary status of the originals.
